About Clonylab

Clonylab makes natural English voice-overs from your script and clones your own voice. The audio is made on your own device, so your text and your recordings stay with you.

Clonylab was started by Yashveer Bharani, who works in digital marketing and AI from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. The Clonylab team writes every page on this site, tests the voices before they are published, answers support requests and keeps the licence and privacy pages up to date. When something on the site changes (a price, a limit, a voice), the page that states it is changed in the same release.

Why Clonylab exists

The aim is simple: bring useful AI services to people everywhere at a price so low that it feels like almost nothing. Voice cloning and text to speech are often priced for companies. Clonylab makes the audio in your own browser, so it does not need to rent large voice servers, and that helps keep the price low. You can start free with no card, and the paid plans are kept low too.

Why the audio is made on your device

Most voice tools send your script to a server and send the audio back. Clonylab downloads the voice model to your browser once and runs it there. That keeps your text private, removes the upload wait and means there is no queue. The trade-off is honest: the first use of a voice downloads its files, and a slower computer makes voice-overs more slowly than a fast one.

How voices are licensed

Every standard voice is offered under the licence of its model and training data, and the voices on offer are cleared for commercial use. The details, including any attribution a licence asks for, are on the Voice licences page. Voice cloning is for your own voice or a voice whose speaker has clearly and lawfully allowed it. The Terms forbid using a cloned voice to impersonate or deceive anyone.

What Clonylab does not do

Clonylab is English only. It does not offer other languages, and it does not create a clone for you from someone else's recording. An account is needed to use it, and the AI connection (MCP) needs a Pro or Team plan and an open Clonylab tab, because the audio is made in your browser.

How we handle your data

Your text, recordings, history and cloned voices are kept in your own browser. The Privacy policy lists exactly what our servers do store, such as your account and your plan.

Plans

You can start free with a one-time allowance of 300 characters. Pro and Team remove the limits. See the pricing page for the current prices.
