Using Clonylab

Clonylab turns text you provide into speech inside your own browser. You are responsible for the text you generate and for having the right to use it.

Voices and licences

Each voice is offered under the licence of its model and training data; where a licence requires attribution it is listed on the Voice licences page. Do not use a generated voice to impersonate a real person or to deceive.

Cloning voices

You may clone only your own voice, or a voice you have the speaker's clear and lawful permission to clone. Do not use a cloned voice to impersonate anyone, to deceive people, or to present generated speech as a real recording of a real person. The recording you use stays on your device. You are responsible for what you generate with a cloned voice.

Plans and payments

Clonylab has three plans. The Trial needs an account and includes a one-time allowance of 300 characters and up to 3 cloned voices; it does not renew. Pro and Team are paid monthly plans with unlimited characters and cloned voices and the AI connection. A Team plan has up to 5 seats, owner not included: the owner pays and invites people by email, and a person's access to the Team plan ends when the owner removes them or the Team subscription ends.

Paid plans renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period.

Refunds

Payments are generally non-refundable. We make an exception when something went wrong on our side, such as a billing mistake, a duplicate charge, or a technical fault that stopped you from using the service you paid for.

To ask for a refund, contact us through the chat or by email within 7 days of the payment, and tell us what happened. We review each request individually and, where the problem is confirmed, refund the payment to the original payment method. Refunds are not available for change of mind, unused time on a plan, or requests made after the 7-day window.

Availability

The service is provided as is. Voice generation depends on your device and browser.
