What unlimited covers
Unlimited can be a vague word, so here is what it means in Clonylab. On Pro and Team, the plan itself puts no cap on three things.

What still limits you in practice
Because Clonylab makes the audio in your own browser, a few limits come from your computer, not from the plan. They are worth knowing before you start a big job.

Long jobs run as tasks, and every voice-over is its own task. You can queue several and keep writing, as described on the text to speech online page.

Changing your mind
Paid plans renew until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Billing and keep access until the end of the paid period. Payments are generally non-refundable, with an exception when something went wrong on our side, such as a billing mistake or a duplicate charge. Write to us within 7 days in that case. The Terms have the full wording.
Unlimited and the AI connection
Pro and Team also include the AI connection (MCP). With it, an AI app such as Claude or Cursor can ask your open Clonylab tab to make voice-overs. Since the plan has no character cap, a long job from an AI app is not blocked by an allowance.

Unlimited compared with pay-per-character
Some tools charge per character or per minute. That can be cheap for a little and expensive for a lot. A flat plan flips it.

How far unlimited goes: a worked example
As a rough rule of thumb, a person speaks about 150 words a minute, and a word plus its space is about six characters. That makes one minute of speech about 900 characters. It is only an estimate, but it helps you picture the scale.

Against the free plan’s 300 characters, even a 30-second ad is more than the free allowance. That is the gap Pro closes.
Making long jobs run smoothly
- Split long scripts by section. Shorter scripts give shorter tasks, and you can fix one section without redoing the rest.
- Queue them. Start the next script while the first runs. Each is its own task.
- Name your files as you go so a batch is easy to sort.
- Download as you finish. History is stored in your browser, so keep your final files.
- Check on a short script first. If a voice or setting needs changing, you find out early.

Yes, on Pro and Team. They set no limit on characters, script length or cloned voices. The free plan has a one-time allowance of 300 characters.
